Tata Power, one of India’s largest integrated power utilities, launched a large-scale distribution network upgrade to improve supply reliability and reduce technical losses across multiple states. The project required high-quality 10kV distribution transformers in large volume with a compressed delivery schedule and full compliance with Indian standards (IS 2026).
We supplied 500 units of 10kV oil-immersed distribution transformers (100–1000 kVA) with step-lap cores and low no-load loss. Production was scheduled across two manufacturing lines with phased shipments to project sites. Each batch passed routine tests and was witnessed by the client’s third-party inspection agency. Custom tap ranges and termination arrangements were provided to match existing network configurations.
